    Advanced Technical Level
   March 2005 witnessed to the commissioning of the new Baku Cargo Terminal. It proved to be the CIS largest and most high-tech terminal, covering the area of 12,800 square meters and featuring a 30,000 tons/mo throughput capacity. It handles both inbound and outbound cargo from all over the world, transit cargo inclusive. The freight turnover amounts to160-200 tons per day. There are 9 aircraft parking areas (for the aircraft types like 5(five) for Boeing 747 and AN 124, plus 4(four) for IL-76). Under construction is the company's own Technical Maintenance Center “Silk Way Techniques”. The Center is intended to provide the whole range of aircraft maintenance services.

   Silk Way Airlines faces the future with confidence. We successfully expand the network of our operations. Today, we offer both scheduled and charter flights to over 50 destinations worldwide, including not common destinations as Afghanistan, Irak, West Kazakhstan etc.

   Our Services:
   • International freight: oil-&-gas equipment, construction material and heavy industrial equipment, automobiles, vehicles and spare parts, humanitarian cargo, live animals and perishables, foodstuff, stage and exhibition equipment, consumer goods consignments, hazardous goods handled in full compliance with ICAO standards.
   • Cargo insurance: aircraft operation is associated with certain risks, among them aircraft loss and damage. Our company's entire fleet as well as the third party liability and crew are insured at London Insurance Market.
